Elton JFC is committed to the welfare of every child, young person and adult in our care. Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone involved with the club — coaches, managers, committee, volunteers and parents.

Our Welfare Officers

We have dedicated FA-recognised Welfare Officers who are the first point of contact for any concern — however small.

• Sarah Case — Youth Welfare Officer
  First point of contact for all youth teams (Mini-Kickers through U9s).
• Leanne Thomas — Men's Welfare Officer
  First point of contact for our Open Age Men's side.

Our commitments

• Every coach and manager working with children is DBS-checked and appropriately qualified.
• We follow FA safeguarding guidance and complete the FA Safeguarding Children course.
• Concerns are always taken seriously, handled sensitively and, where appropriate, escalated to the FA and statutory agencies.
• Medical, safeguarding and personal data is only ever collected inside our secure club app — never through public forms on this website.

Reporting a concern

If you have a concern about the welfare of any child or adult connected to the club, please contact one of our Welfare Officers directly, or email us at club@eltonjfc.co.uk and we'll make sure it reaches the right person immediately.

If a child is at immediate risk of harm, always contact the emergency services on 999.
